About Puzzabl
Puzzabl is an independent puzzle app built around two original daily games: Sumabl, a number puzzle played on a circular sliding board, and Spellabl, a word puzzle using the same mechanic. Both are free to play on iOS, Android and the web, with a new puzzle every day.
Most puzzle games borrow familiar formats: grids, rows, columns, boxes... Puzzabl does something different. Its puzzles are played on a circular board divided into rings and segments, where the way you move around the board is as much a part of the challenge as the puzzle itself.
Slide. Sum. Spell. Solve.
A simple set of rules creates a surprisingly addictive daily puzzle.
Two games, one board
Puzzabl is home to two daily puzzle games.
Sumabl is a daily numbers puzzle. Each segment holds a number, and your goal is to drag them together, adding their values as you go, until everything has been funnelled into the centre. Three difficulty modes give you the choice between a quick daily challenge and a puzzle that will properly test your strategic thinking.
Spellabl is a daily word puzzle. The same circular board is used, but this time the segments hold letters that spell out the hidden word or words. Drag them together in the right order, combining letters as you go, to complete the puzzle. The twist is that there may be more than one way to form a word, but only one correct path through the board, giving Spellabl a strategic depth.

Puzzabl started as a browser game and is now available as an app on both iOS and Android. Whether you prefer to play at your desk or reach for your phone on your commute, the full Puzzabl experience is available wherever you are.
The story behind Puzzabl
Puzzabl was created by Richard Griffiths, a web developer with over 25 years of experience. Richard started building websites in the late 1990s while completing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, and has been running web development businesses ever since.
The app grew out of a desire to learn something new. After years of building corporate websites, Richard wanted to explore HTML5 Canvas, a technology he had never had cause to use professionally. The idea for Sumabl had been sitting on the backburner for years and turned out to be the perfect starting point.
Once Sumabl was built and working well, Spellabl followed naturally. What began as a learning project gradually became a fully-fledged puzzle app with daily challenges, streaks, stats, leaderboards and three difficulty modes.
Puzzabl is still an indie project but it has been created with the same care, polish and attention to detail as any professional web project.
